Rich is a dedicated sports performance enhancement specialist, holding the industry’s most respected certifications:  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Level 2 Track & Field Coach certificate with USA Track & Field- USATF. He is also certified as a Youth Fitness Specialist L1, & Youth Nutrition Specialist L1, IYCA- International Youth Conditioning Association.

A lifelong athlete, he enjoyed success as a conference champion and All-East selection while a track team captain at St. Joseph’s University. Post collegiately, Rich has been a nationally ranked age group runner in track & field, and has also earned a 3rd degree black belt in the martial arts at Amato’s Karate Academy.

During the past 20 years Rich has worked with youth, high school, collegiate, and post-collegiate professional athletes in a variety of sports to improve their athletic performance and experience. He currently serves as the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Cross-Country and Track teams at St. John Vianney High School, and was previously Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls sprint coach during which time the program surged to high levels.  SJV runners have broken numerous school sprint and distance records, won Monmouth County, Shore Conference, State Sectional and Group championships, a Meet of Champions title, and received All-Shore and All-State honors while following Rich's training plans and direction.

 In 2012, Rich was invited to join the coaching staff of the NEW JERSEY-NEW YORK TRACK CLUB, an elite club of professional post-collegiate national and world class runners, where he served as an assistant track coach, and the team’s strength and speed coach for the full 4 year Olympic training cycle. During this period 15 athletes from the club qualified for and competed in the 2016 Olympic trials, with one athlete making the US Olympic team.

Through his coaching role with the New Jersey New York Track Club, Rich was introduced to the legendary Head Strength and Speed Coach from the University of Oregon. Throughout the 4 year period Rich received on site, personal mentoring in the Oregon system, both in New Jersey and in Eugene Oregon. This proven strength and speed development system forms the basis of the approach used by Rich as he prepares his athletes for high level success.
